Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jedi Rebel (ranked 4630 p4p, 2994 weight class) and Joe Junior (ranked 585 p4p, 402 weight class). Jedi Rebel could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Joe Junior's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jedi Rebel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joe Junior! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rebel tries to clinch but Junior moves away and Junior counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Junior. Rebel pulls Junior in to control the position. Rebel lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Rebel sitting in guard, not really doing much. Junior throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Rebel wants to control from the top but Junior keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Junior is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Rebel wants to stand and escape but instead Junior has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Junior trying to control but Rebel is working from the bottom. Junior postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rebel looking to hit a scissor sweep but Junior is one step ahead there. Rebel keeping full guard, as Junior tries to pass. Junior wants to control from the top but Rebel keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Junior stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rebel swivels though and keeps the full guard. Rebel trying to keep a closed guard but Junior is proving a slippery customer.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Junior scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Rebel scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Junior pushes Rebel off and gets back to his feet. Rebel tries a head kick but it misses.
Junior let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Rebel shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Junior manages to escape and get back to his feet! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rebel is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Jedi Rebel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rebel tries to clinch but fails miserably and Junior counters with a crisp right hand that drops Rebel! Junior lets Rebel back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Rebel is rocked! Rebel throws a head kick that misses and Junior counters with a huge right that knocks Rebel out cold! Junior is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Joe Junior! A relieved looking Joe Junior thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
