Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hou Shang Lou (ranked 5337 p4p, 5142 weight class) and Branislav Britton (ranked 278 p4p, 267 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hou Shang Lou! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Branislav Britton ! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Britton throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Britton blocks a low kick nicely. The fight moves into the clinch position. Lou is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Britton is defending well. Lou has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Britton regains guard immediately. Lou stays in close to Britton 's body and controls the position. Britton wants to control but Lou passes easily into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Britton is staying active underneath Lou, who seems content to just control the action from this position. That's one minute gone in the round. Lou is keen to just control but Britton is a slippery customer. Lou thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Britton 's head. Lou stalling. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Britton trying to control but Lou postures up.
Lou wants to pass the guard but Britton is defending well. Britton has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Lou is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Britton is trying to get back to full guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Lou keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Britton tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lou was well out of range. Poor timing from Britton . Britton misses with a straight left. Lou uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Britton . Lou clinches up with Britton and pushes him back against the cage. Lou manages to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lou moves away from the strike by Britton . Britton fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lou avoids it really well and circles away. Britton tries to keep at a distance but Lou has taken the fight into the clinch. Britton is defending well against a takedown attempt. Lou misses with a punch on the inside.
Lou will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Britton up against the cage. Lou slowing the pace effectively.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lou stalling against the cage.
Lou gets a warning from the ref for wasting time. The referee is keeping an eye on Lou - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Lou struggles to land a body shot inside as Britton controls his hands.
Lou lands with a right to the head. Britton wants to take the fight to the mat but Lou manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Lou misses with a knee to the head. Lou fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lou stalling against the cage.
Lou breaks from the clinch.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Hou Shang Lou dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Britton waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Lou. Britton uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lou. Britton feints the counter takedown. Lou scores with a nice head shot. Lou bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Britton throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Lou counters by clinching up. Lou turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Lou manages to end up in side control. Britton manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Lou is working for a submission of some sort.
Britton avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lou. Lou passes the guard and advances to mount! Lou lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
That's one minute gone in the round. Britton is squirming around, avoiding Lou's attempts to control the action. Lou thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. We've been hearing that Lou has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Britton is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Lou raining down hammerfists from mount. Lou looking to finish with strikes here!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Lou throwing strikes here but Britton is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Lou tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Britton avoids a series of strikes thrown by Lou.
Lou breaks from Britton 's wrist control and lands an elbow. Lou scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Britton is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Britton slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lou throws a strike but Britton avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Lou stopping the sweep attempt from Britton . Britton is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Britton avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Lou wants to pass the guard but Britton is keeping the position. Lou throwing strikes but missing. Lou content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Britton has locked up a guillotine! Britton 's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Lou is holding on here and Britton must be using up a lot of energy. Lou has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Britton gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
