Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Balink Tarlah (ranked 1268 p4p, 1323 weight class) and Pete Kiloe (ranked 169 p4p, 177 weight class). Kiloe has chosen Boys Noize - Lava Lava as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Balink Tarlah has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Balink Tarlah seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Balink Tarlah! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pete Kiloe! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kiloe clinches. Tarlah wants a takedown but no success here.
Tarlah blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Kiloe struggles to land a body shot inside as Tarlah controls his hands.
Kiloe throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Tarlahs head. Kiloe lands on the inside with an uppercut. Kiloe has Tarlah pushed against the cage. Tarlah has Kiloe pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Tarlah pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Kiloe tumbling to the mat - Tarlah dives into Kiloe's guard. Tarlah in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kiloe wants to sweep but no luck. Kiloe is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Tarlah throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kiloe works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kiloe looking for a sweep. Not yet Kiloe, not yet. Kiloe is trying to keep Tarlah in close.
That's one minute gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kiloe is on top in guard.
Kiloe is looking to stand up but Tarlah won't let him. Kiloe must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kiloe trying to control the position from guard on top but Tarlah is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kiloe gets to his feet - Tarlah follows without any prompting. Kiloe tries to clinch but Tarlah is having none of it. Kiloe closes the distance looking to clinch and Tarlah counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Kiloe is looking for a sweep. Tarlah is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kiloe trying to hold on to Tarlah's head to control him but Tarlah postures up.
Tarlah takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Tarlah throwing shots but Kiloe is blocking nicely. Tarlah thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kiloe's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ground and pound from Tarlah. Kiloe trying to control here.
Kiloe looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Kiloe wants to get back to full guard. Kiloe keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Ground and pound from Tarlah.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kiloe is trying to get back to full guard. Tarlah trying to control the action but Kiloe is working from the bottom. Kiloe is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Tarlah scores with a couple of nice shots. Kiloe has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tarlah is working away from the top position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kiloe has one foot on Tarlah's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Kiloe tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tarlah swats him away and circles back towards the center. Tarlah throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kiloe wants to clinch letting Tarlah counter with a right hand. Kiloe scores with a shot to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Kiloe looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A big right from Kiloe misses. Kiloe tries to clinch but Tarlah moves out of range. Kiloe rushes Tarlah and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kiloe lands a shoulder strike. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tarlah escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tarlah tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kiloe defends well and Tarlah ends up having to push Kiloe into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Kiloe flicks out a counter leg kick but Tarlah steps away. A short right from Kiloe on the inside. Kiloe is stalling here.
Kiloe softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Tarlah tries to score a body lock takedown but Kiloe shows good agility there to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Balink Tarlah. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kiloe gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Tarlah.
Kiloe swings wildly with an uppercut but Tarlah uses good head movement to avoid it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Pete Kiloe dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Kiloe misses with a body punch
and Tarlah counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Tarlah looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Tarlah circles away from the clinch attempt.
Tarlah drops down looking for a counter takedown but Kiloe sprawls and moves away. Tarlah closes the distance and clinches up with Kiloe, looking for a takedown. Tarlah pushes Kiloe against the cage but Kiloe circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Kiloe doesn't manage to clinch there - Tarlah circles away.
Kiloe moves into the clinch. Tarlah is looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Balink Tarlah. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tarlah gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kiloe scrambles and gets back to his feet.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kiloe lands a nice uppercut. Kiloe works on Tarlah's body with a couple of short punches.

Tarlah is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. A nice left hand lands by Kiloe.

Kiloe gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Kiloe is defending well against a takedown attempt. Kiloe looking to slow down the pace here. Kiloe breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kiloe has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Kiloe is looking to clinch but Tarlah is avoiding it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kiloe tries to close the distance and clinch but Tarlah swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Tarlah feinted with a counter takedown. Kiloe is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kiloe lands a left and a right that send Tarlah crashing to the mat, dazed. Kiloe thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Tarlah is rocked!
It looks like Balink Tarlah has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kiloe has taken the fight to the clinch.
Oh Tarlah is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Kiloe dips a shoulder and cracks Tarlah with a mighty uppercut! Tarlah falls back against the cage and Kiloe unloads with a barrage of strikes! Tarlah is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Kiloe screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pete Kiloe! An out of breath Pete Kiloe thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
