Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jaycen Solo (ranked 930 p4p, 1373 weight class) and Alexanderovski Volkan (ranked 136 p4p, 207 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jaycen Solo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alexanderovski Volkan! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Roger Salmon and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Volkan misses with a looping right. Volkan fails with an attempt to clinch.

Solo tries for a takedown but Volkan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Volkan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Solo manages to avoid it. Volkan throws a hook but Solo avoids it easily. Volkan has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far. Solo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Volkan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Solo somewhat. Solo shoots in for a takedown but Volkan shows good takedown defense. Solo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Some wild striking there from Volkan.
Solo shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Volkan manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Solo passes Volkan's left leg - he's now in half guard. Volkan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Volkan on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Solo is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Volkan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
