Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Diaz (ranked 1767 p4p, 2773 weight class) and Logan Nail (ranked 266 p4p, 402 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Logan Nail!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nail lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Diaz backs up against the cage.

It looks like Frank Diaz has been cut.
Diaz throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Nail sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Diaz keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Nail.
Diaz is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

and Nail counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

It seemed like Nail was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

We've been hearing good reports from Diaz's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Diaz is trying to get an arm triangle but Nail is defending well.
