Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Blinky Billy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thanos Eternal!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Sosuke Kotani and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eternal looks to throw the jab but Billy is out of range.
The fighters circling - Eternal throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Billy gets tackled into the cage by Eternal. Eternal maintains the clinch.
Eternal fails to pull guard.
Eternal trying to stall but Billy improves his position.
Billy tries to circle away but Eternal has him pinned against the cage.
Eternal stalls.
Billy can't break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Eternal swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Eternal tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Eternal trying to control the position but instead, Billy has worked for underhooks and has pushed Eternal into the cage.
Eternal tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Billy smiles and moves away.
Blinky Billy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thanos Eternal.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Eternal wants to clinch up but Billy keeps it at a distance.
Billy lands a body shot.
Eternal throws a jab when Billy was well out of range.
Eternal lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Billy uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Eternal.
Billy lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Billy.
It looks like Thanos Eternal has been cut.
Billy lands a nice leg kick that just misses Eternal's sensitive parts.
Billy steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Eternal.
Billy thinks about countering with a body kick.
Eternal misses with a left hand
and Billy counters with an inside leg kick.
Eternal jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Billy circles away from the clinch attempt
and Billy counters with a big right hand! Oh Eternal is in trouble here! Billy follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Blinky Billy!
After winning the bout, Blinky Billy thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
