Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Bennett (ranked 3169 p4p, 2333 weight class) and Donald Fonald (ranked 385 p4p, 285 weight class). Bennett comes to the cage accompanied by Tyron Woodley . I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bennett ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
The crowd cheers as Fonald lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bennett doesn't seem phased though.
Bennett has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Fonald pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Fonald lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Fonald.

Fonald is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bennett.

A nice inside leg kick there by Fonald. That's going to slow Bennett down.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fonald. Bennett does a little dance to reset his feet.

Fonald has had enough of the clinch but Bennett keeps him there for the moment.
Bennett works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Fonald wants to break the clinch but can't.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Bennett throws a body shot but no joy.
Fonald drops his hands momentarily. Bennett doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Fonald staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Fonald doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Robert Bennett!
A determined Robert Bennett didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
