Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Domaydo Cann!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Josh West and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cann is defended easily by Turner.
Turner tries to clinch but Cann moves out of range.
Nice shot lands for Cann.
We've been hearing reports that Turner has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Cann shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Turner pinned against the cage. Turner gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sloppy strikes from Turner. Those never looked like landing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Turner swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Turner throws a series of punches but Cann avoids them all with ease.
Turner throws a nice looking combination but Cann bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cann tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
No luck for Cann with that takedown attempt.
Kali Turner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Domaydo Cann.

Turner does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

and Cann decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Turner's guard.
Cann with a flurry of punches that miss.
Turner will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Cann wants to control from the top but Turner keeps moving.
Turner working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cann.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cann is looking to work some ground and pound but Turner has wrist control.
Turner keeping moving, preventing Cann from controlling successfully.
Cann stays in close to Turner's body and controls the position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Cann postures up in Turner's guard and throws a big left but Turner blocks it.
Cann is in close to Turner's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Cann working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Turner's head.
Cann throws an elbow that misses. Turner uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Cann's guard. Nice move by Turner!

Turner is posturing up here but Cann has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Turner tries to roll out but it's too tight and Turner has to tap! Slick submission there by Cann!
