Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Markus Kray (ranked 3755 p4p, 2187 weight class) and Milo Vicente (ranked 472 p4p, 308 weight class). Milo Vicente has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Markus Kray! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Milo Vicente! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vicente shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kray as he jumps to the side. Kray is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kray swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Vicente swings for the body but Kray moves out of range.
An attempted straight right counter from Kray misses the target. Vicente waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kray. Kray slips under a jab. Vicente misses with a straight right. Kray moves in looking to clinch but Vicente pushes him off. Vicente closes the distance and clinches up with Kray, looking for a takedown. Vicente pushes Kray against the cage but Kray circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Kray tries to clinch up but Vicente circles away and keeps his distance. Kray tries to clinch but Vicente moves out of range. Vicente looks like he wants to counter punch here. Kray is looking to clinch but Vicente is avoiding it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vicente showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kray.
A big right from Vicente misses. Vicente scores with a jab to the head.
Milo Vicente seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kray with a hook. Vicente throws out a token jab with nothing on it. A quick step to the side and Kray tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kray clinches. Vicente manages to break the clinch.
Vicente throws a leg kick but Kray sees it coming and checks it nicely. Kray slips a jab and a cross from Vicente.

and Kray counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Vicente thinking. Kray slips under a jab. Kray throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Vicente misses with a double jab.
We've been informed that Vicente has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Kray scores with a jab to the body. Vicente misses with an uppercut. Kray saw that one coming. Vicente misses the shot to the body. Some wild striking there from Kray.
Vicente will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Markus Kray has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Milo Vicente. Kray slips a jab from Vicente. Kray takes one on the button. Kray doesn't manage to clinch there - Vicente circles away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Vicente takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Vicente fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kray has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vicente throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
It looked like Kray wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Kray clinches. Vicente lands with a light punch inside. Vicente has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kray after a bit of a struggle. Kray misses with a knee to the head. Vicente pulls guard. Vicente is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Vicente is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kray is aware though and is defending well. Vicente has a closed guard, preventing Kray from standing up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vicente has his foot on Kray's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kray works his way back into a safe position though. Vicente had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kray defends it easily. Vicente has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kray can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kray wants to get up but he can't break Vicente's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Kray has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Vicente throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Vicente is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kray defends well. Kray knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vicente on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kray has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Vicente is proving hard to escape from. Vicente wants to sweep here but Kray controlling him for the moment. Kray is posturing up here but Vicente has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Kray tries to roll out but it's too tight and Kray has to tap! Slick submission there by Vicente!
