Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Harry Hendersons (ranked 1886 p4p, 1745 weight class) and Christopher Irwin (ranked 186 p4p, 170 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harry Hendersons! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Christopher Irwin! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Irwin closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hendersons did well to prevent Irwin getting side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Well, if Irwin is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Hendersons wants to get back to full guard. Hendersons looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Irwin stalling. Hendersons is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Roosters Coop that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Hendersons tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Irwin is looking to pass Hendersons's guard but actually Hendersons recovers to full guard. Irwin slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Irwin's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hendersons had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Irwin defends it easily. Irwin slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Irwin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hendersons keeps working. Irwin is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hendersons's shoulder. That is not cool.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Irwin decides to take the fight back to the feet. Irwin shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Irwin controlling the action here. Hendersons won't allow Irwin to pass to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Irwin is taking a breather. Hendersons says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Irwin works his way into side control. Hendersons misses with an elbow from the bottom. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Irwin gets a double leg takedown into Hendersons's guard. Hendersons can't keep his opponent in guard - Irwin advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Irwin works his way into side control. Irwin just content to control the position. More stalling from Irwin. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hendersons is looking for a sweep. Hendersons manages to get back to half guard. Irwin perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Irwin is continuing to stall.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Irwin scores with a takedown into Hendersons's guard. Irwin engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Irwin wants to control from the top but Hendersons keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hendersons being controlled here, momentarily. Irwin sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hendersons's guard. Irwin has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Irwin seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Hendersons is holding on tight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Irwin controlling from mount. The adventures of Irwin the control monster continue. Boring. Irwin wants to take his opponent's back but Hendersons doesn't allow it. Irwin has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hendersons swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Christopher Irwin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Irwin fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hendersons to the ground. Irwin is now in Hendersons's guard. Hendersons has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Hendersons throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Irwin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hendersons swivels though and keeps the full guard. Irwin advances position into side control! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hendersons is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Irwin's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Irwin looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Irwin looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Irwin is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Hendersons! Irwin tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Hendersons tries to reverse the position but Irwin maintains control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Irwin goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Hendersons is on top in guard.
Hendersons pushing down on Irwin's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Irwin tries to roll over but Hendersons keeps him under control. Christopher Irwin has got the better of the ground game so far. Irwin is defending against the submission attempts here by Hendersons.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hendersons postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Irwin holds on and takes a little breather. Hendersons trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Irwin looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Irwin with more of the same as he continues to hold on. Christopher Irwin is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Hendersons drops back looking for a leg! Irwin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Irwin manages to kick Hendersons off! Hendersons jumps back into Irwin's guard. Hendersons thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Irwin is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Hendersons trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Irwin controls Hendersons momentarily but Hendersons frees himself. Hendersons trying to control the position from guard on top but Irwin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Irwin seems keen to control Hendersons's posture.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hendersons gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Irwin's corner is telling him to maintain position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Christopher Irwin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Irwin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
