Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Timo Bader (ranked 1278 p4p, 5049 weight class) and Bruno Gehard (ranked 173 p4p, 526 weight class). Gehard is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Scooter - Nessaja. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bruno Gehard!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Jeff Smith and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bader throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Gehard's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Bader dives in looking to finish as Gehard flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Bader's strikes! Bader is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Gehard's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Gehard was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Timo Bader!
