Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Steven Christie (ranked 1452 p4p, 2013 weight class) and Snapple Grapple (ranked 155 p4p, 203 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Christie might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Amityville. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Snapple Grapple!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grapple shoots for a double leg takedown but Christie sprawls well. He's pushed Grapple's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Christie looks to score with a jab to the body but Grapple is just out of range.
Christie looks to land a left hand but Grapple moved out of range nicely.
Christie throws a shot to the body.
Christie looks to throw the jab but Grapple is out of range.
Grapple is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Good standup being displayed there by Christie as he connects with a hook.
Christie slaps away a takedown attempt from Grapple, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Grapple throws the left hand but Christie avoids the punch easily.
It looked like Christie wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Grapple with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Christie to score with a decent uppercut.
No luck for Grapple with that takedown attempt.
Steven Christie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Snapple Grapple.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Christie swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Grapple goes for a double leg but Christie avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Christie continues to drive forward.

Grapple closes the distance but Christie moves to the side
and Christie counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Grapple out cold! What a finish! Christie is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
