Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Luna (ranked 22367 p4p, 19437 weight class) and Oleg Liguy (ranked 826 p4p, 818 weight class). Luna comes to the cage accompanied by Noypi by Bamboo. Oleg Liguy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liguy fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Liguy is defended easily by Luna.
Luna feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Liguys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Luna looks to land a combination but Liguy avoids it well.

Antonio Luna has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oleg Liguy.
Luna lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Luna tries to bum rush Liguy with a series of wild strikes but Liguy uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Luna, as that shot connected.
Liguy shoots in for a double leg but Luna sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Liguy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Luna tries to avoid it but Liguy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Luna to the ground. Luna escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Luna lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Liguy backs up against the cage.
Liguy fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Oleg Liguy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Liguy swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Luna's jab looks to have found its range, popping Liguy under the eye.
Liguy gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Luna counters with a series of strikes. Liguy will be more careful next time no doubt.

Horrible takedown attempt by Liguy or perhaps it was just good defense by Luna, which made it look bad.

Luna cracks Liguy with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Liguy looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Luna finish him?

Luna grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Liguy takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Luna cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
