Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brodie Lee (ranked 5548 p4p, 4817 weight class) and Jon Masvidal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masvidal is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by scarface. Brodie Lee could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jon Masvidal's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Brodie Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jon Masvidal!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Fedor Mirinova and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Masvidal counters with a stiff right hand.
Lee tries for a takedown but Masvidal sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Lee moves into range and clinches up with Masvidal.
Lee is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Lee blocks an elbow strike.
Masvidal breaks the clinch.
Masvidal lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Lee closes the distance and clinches up with Masvidal, looking for a takedown. Lee pushes Masvidal against the cage but Masvidal circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Despite the aggression on Masvidal's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brodie Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lee looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lee wants to free his trapped foot but Masvidal is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Masvidal lands with a nice body punch.

Masvidal stuns Lee with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Lee closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Lee wants to control but Masvidal is keeping him busy.
Masvidal wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Lee thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Lee in side control, throwing shots but Masvidal defends.

Masvidal managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Lee.

Masvidal tries to keep at a distance but Lee has taken the fight into the clinch.
Lee manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Lee has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Masvidal is on him like a limpet, forcing Lee back against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Masvidal throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Lee pulls guard effortlessly.

Brodie Lee overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Masvidal jabs Lee to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Masvidal drops Lee with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lee looks back up at him and smiles so Masvidal waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Lee is rocked!
Masvidal lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Oh Lee is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brodie Lee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Masvidal plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Lee swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Lee face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!

A less than humble Jon Masvidal misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
