The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Winner gets caught napping as Roth dives in and scores a takedown. Winner manages to retain guard.
Winner wants to stand and escape but Roth is having none of it.

Roth is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Roth won't allow Winner to get back to his feet.
Roth in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Roth accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Roth drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Roth jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Winner is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Roth throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Winner works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
