Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hideo Murasaki (ranked 5613 p4p, 5447 weight class) and Sp Sang (ranked 567 p4p, 556 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hideo Murasaki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sp Sang! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Murasaki misses with a jab, cross combination.
Murasaki lands a nice shot that snaps Sang's head back.

Sang comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Sang creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Murasaki's defenses. Sang lands a damaging elbow. Murasaki takes an elbow to the forehead.

Jeez, Hideo Murasaki's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sang gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Hideo Murasaki's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
