Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Narz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Elroy Clarks!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Ben Watson and Chris Dean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Narz lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Narz throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Peter Narz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Clarks moves out of range of the leg kick from Narz.
Clarks uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Narz.
Clarks checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Narz tries to land a leg kick but Clarks saw it coming and moves away.
Clarks feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Narzs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Clarks decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Narz wants to get back to his feet.
Narz is looking for a sweep. Clarks is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Clarks cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Clarks is trying to stick to Narz's back but Narz is turning into Clarks. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Clarks's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Narz.

Clarks lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Narz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Narz manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Clarks manages to get himself to full guard.


Clarks is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Narz is pushing down on Clarks's leg trying to pass to half guard. Clarks is fighting to maintain full guard but Narz has managed to sneak the leg through.
Narz wants to control but Clarks is keeping him busy.

Narz stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Clarks throws a big shot that misses.
Narz jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Clarks scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Clarks clobbers Narz with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Clarks feints a jab promting Narz to slip. Clarks then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Narz slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Narz steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Clarks. That one must have hurt.

Clarks cracks Narz with a right hand to the side of the head.
Clarks uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Narz.
Clarks looks to score with a jab to the body but Narz is just out of range.
Elroy Clarks seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Narz avoids a punch combination nicely.
Narz looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Clarks has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Narz.
Clarks has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Clarks there as he acknowledges the shot.

Clarks is just content to waste time from the top position. Narz takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Narz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Clarks doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Clarks manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Clarks not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Narz lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Clarks has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Clarks and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Narz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
