Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chukwu Adeoluwa (ranked 1202 p4p, 1938 weight class) and Harris Reed (ranked 125 p4p, 194 weight class). Reed has chosen Beethoven's 5th Symphony as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chukwu Adeoluwa! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harris Reed! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reed lands a really nice looking cross but Adeoluwa seems unphased.
Reed has taken the fight to the clinch.
Reed swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Reed tries a body shot but Adeoluwa blocks it.
Adeoluwa definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Adeoluwa tries to pull guard but Reed won't allow it.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Reed. A nice right hand lands inside from Reed. Reed tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Reed lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Reed throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Reed lands a right hand that snaps the head of Adeoluwa backwards. Reed struggles to land a body shot inside as Adeoluwa controls his hands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reed scores with a nice hook to the head. Reed pushes Adeoluwa back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Reed throws a punch but it's blocked by Adeoluwa. Reed lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Reed misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Reed lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Reed tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Reed lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Reed misses with a hook from the clinch. Reed misses with a body punch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Reed creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. A head punch on the inside from Reed fails to land. Reed pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A big right from Adeoluwa misses. Nice straight punches there by Adeoluwa. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Adeoluwa.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reed takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Reed is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Adeoluwa tries to keep at a distance but Reed has taken the fight into the clinch. Good body shot from Reed.

Reed tries to throw a body punch but Adeoluwa avoids it by throwing Reed back against the cage. A head punch on the inside from Reed fails to land. Reed escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Adeoluwa throws a hook but Reed avoids it easily. Adeoluwa doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Reed comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Adeoluwa cracks Reed with a right hand to the side of the head. Adeoluwa throws a right hand that misses
and Reed counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Reed. A nice right hand lands inside from Reed. Adeoluwa is trying to pull guard but Reed turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Reed swings wildly with an uppercut but Adeoluwa uses good head movement to avoid it. This has been an exciting period of action! A short right from Reed on the inside.
That's four minutes gone in the round. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Reed. Adeoluwa jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Reed walks away with a smile on his face. Adeoluwa gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chukwu Adeoluwa. That's going to take a lot out of him. Adeoluwa walks into a stiff left hand from Reed. Reed throws a good cross that connects.
Reed connects with a jab.
Adeoluwa is rocked! Reed has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Reed there as he acknowledges the shot. Reed throws out a powerful jab. Oh Adeoluwa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Reed lands a slapping body shot.
Reed moves into the clinch. Reed lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Reed dips a shoulder and cracks Adeoluwa with a mighty uppercut! Adeoluwa falls back against the cage and Reed unloads with a barrage of strikes! Adeoluwa is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Reed screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Harris Reed! Harris Reed is the new featherweight champion! After winning the bout, Harris Reed thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
