Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Burroughs (ranked 2465 p4p, 2678 weight class) and Truly Dangerous (ranked 307 p4p, 338 weight class). Dangerous is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Killa Whale - Andre Nickatina. Jimmy Burroughs has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dangerous waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Burroughs.
Burroughs just misses with a punch to the body.
A slow jab from Dangerous misses its intended target.
The fight stays on the outside here - Burroughs looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Burroughs shoots in for a takedown but Dangerous shows good takedown defense.
A punch lands to the side of Burroughs 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Dangerous lands a nice looking body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Burroughs tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dangerous swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Dangerous counters with a nice uppercut.
Dangerous lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Dangerous fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Burroughs manages to avoid it.

Burroughs has his takedown stuffed
and Dangerous counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Dangerous thows a left - swing and a miss!
Dangerous bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Burroughs's head backwards.

Burroughs is rocked!

Burroughs darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Burroughs throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Dangerous tries to kick Burroughs off but Burroughs keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Burroughs has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Dangerous is in trouble now - Burroughs has advanced to mount!
Burroughs pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Burroughs tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Burroughs is working for a guillotine from mount but Dangerous frees his head quite easily.
Dangerous tries to buck Burroughs off but he can't manage it.
Burroughs with a couple of short strikes.

Burroughs is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Dangerous to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Dangerous shrugs it off.
Burroughs throwing strikes here but Dangerous is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Burroughs lands a big elbow.
Burroughs controlling the pace for now.
Dangerous's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Burroughs lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Burroughs lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Dangerous hang on?

Dangerous is rocked!
Burroughs drops a big elbow. That's hurt Dangerous! More shots from Burroughs and the ref steps in! The fight is over!

As Jimmy Burroughs got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: What kind of loser tests his fighters against each other in a three minute match to reveal hiddens? That trash is ruining the game. Too bad you still can’t slider ;)'.
Truly Dangerous spoke after the fight, saying 'Win or Lose hands are thrown, this is good. '.
