Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Panda Four (ranked 2247 p4p, 4034 weight class) and Charles Bukowski (ranked 311 p4p, 519 weight class). Charles Bukowski will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Panda Four!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Charles Bukowski!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, John Kavanagh and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bukowski misses the jab.

It looks like Panda Four has been cut.

Four drops down looking for a counter takedown but Bukowski sprawls and moves away.
Bukowski looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Four tries to counter with a takedown but Bukowski is quick to defend against it.
Four has a takedown stuffed.
Four fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bukowski avoids it really well and circles away.
It seemed like Bukowski was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Four shoots in looking for a takedown. Bukowski tries to sprawl out of it but Four keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bukowski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Four tries to pull guard but Bukowski holds him up against the cage and eventually Four drops back down to his feet.
I was talking to Four's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Bukowski throws a punch but it's blocked by Four.
Four tries to stall but Bukowski uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
We've been informed that Bukowski has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Bukowski is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Four has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bukowski uses from the top position.

Well Bukowski has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
