Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Malcolm Menard!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Skip Squint and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gates throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Menard tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gates is in Menard's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gates is pushing down on Menard's leg trying to pass to half guard. Menard is fighting to maintain full guard but Gates has managed to sneak the leg through.

Menard is defending against the submission attempts here by Gates.
Gates is trying for a kimura here. Menard looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Gates wins by kimura!
