Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Edward Conan (ranked 355 p4p, 484 weight class) and Santino Lombardo (ranked 49 p4p, 68 weight class). Lombardo has chosen Illusions as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Santino Lombardo!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lombardo lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Lombardo misses with an uppercut. Conan saw that one coming.
A little feinted left hand from Conan on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Conan closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Lombardo quickly recovers to half guard.
Lombardo is trying to escape back to his feet but Conan uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Conan tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Lombardo is looking for a sweep.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
