Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Otso Toivonen (ranked 5782 p4p, 23480 weight class) and Karol Krawczyk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krawczyk is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Miodowe Lata. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Otso Toivonen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Karol Krawczyk! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Felipe Paraventi and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krawczyk shoots in for a double leg but Toivonen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Toivonen thows a left - swing and a miss! Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Krawczyk takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Toivonen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Krawczyk.
Toivonen throws a jab but it's blocked by Krawczyk. Krawczyk with a lazy takedown attempt and Toivonen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Karol Krawczyk has been cut. Toivonen looks to land a left hand but Krawczyk moved out of range nicely. Toivonen lands a nice looking body shot.
Krawczyk looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Toivonen! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Krawczyk is trying to ground and pound but Toivonen uses the momentary lack of control by Krawczyk to regain half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Toivonen keeps control of the position for the meantime. Toivonen regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Krawczyk.
That's one minute gone in the round. Toivonen preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Toivonen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Toivonen seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Toivonen is pulling down on Krawczyk's head. It's preventing any offense from Krawczyk, at least for the moment. Toivonen utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Krawczyk has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Toivonen is proving hard to escape from. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Toivonen is on top in guard.
Krawczyk is trying to keep Toivonen in close.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Toivonen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Toivonen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Krawczyk seems keen to control Toivonen's posture.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Toivonen slips a jab and a cross from Krawczyk.
Otso Toivonen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Toivonen lands a head shot. Toivonen connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Krawczyk tumbling to the canvas! Toivonen pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Krawczyk was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Otso Toivonen! During a confident post fight interview, Otso Toivonen thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him. The defeated Karol Krawczyk had this to say: 'Czego stoisz na torach?! Czego stoisz na torach?!'.
