The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lothbrock tries to close the distance and clinch but Barroso swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lothbrock wants to clinch.
Barroso appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Lothbrock fails in his attempt to clinch.

Lothbrock clinches with his opponent.
Lothbrock misses with a hook from the clinch.
Barroso avoids a wild elbow strike from Lothbrock.

Barroso is fighting off a takedown attempt but Lothbrock is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Barroso to the mat. Barroso regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lothbrock is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Barroso looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Lothbrock is defending well. Barroso quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Lothbrock has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Barroso celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
