Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Butch Thighpunch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ivan Krylov!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Krylov finds it's target.
Krylov doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Thighpunch swings away with a body shot that misses
and Thighpunch takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A jab lands there for Krylov.
Thighpunch changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Krylov looks to land a left hand but Thighpunch moved out of range nicely.
Krylov throws a head kick that misses
and Thighpunch counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Ivan Krylov has been cut.
Krylov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Thighpunch defends it nicely.

Thighpunch connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thighpunch works the jab nicely.
Thighpunch seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Krylov throws a big counter head kick but Thighpunch avoids it with no problem.
A looping hook to the body misses from Thighpunch. Krylov does a little dance to reset his feet.
A little jabbing left from Krylov on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Krylov throws a series of punches but Thighpunch moves out of range.
Thighpunch swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Thighpunch jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Krylov throws a lazy right hand but Thighpunch sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Krylov moves out of range as Thighpunch strikes.
Krylov throws a left and a right that both miss
and Thighpunch counters with a nice body shot.
Krylov pivots, looking for a leg kick but Thighpunch is out of range and Krylov settles back down.
Krylov fails in his attempt to clinch.
Krylov doesn't manage to clinch there - Thighpunch circles away.
Krylov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Thighpunch was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Krylov scores with a nice right hand.
Thighpunch throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Krylov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Thighpunch manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Thighpunch manages to break the clinch.

and Thighpunch counters with a straight right hand.
Krylov rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Thighpunch counters with a nice uppercut.
That has opened up Ivan Krylov's cut even more.

Ivan Krylov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Krylov doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Thighpunch counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Krylov is rocked!
Butch Thighpunch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Krylov.
Thighpunch cracks Krylov with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Krylov falls to his knees and Thighpunch doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Butch Thighpunch decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
