Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jin Su (ranked 25344 p4p, 4986 weight class) and John Locke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jin Su! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, John Locke! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Sandra Marshall and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Su takes one to the side of the head.
Locke shoots in and drives through. Su sprawls well. Locke feints a jab promting Su to slip. Locke then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Su slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Su throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A decent looking body kick lands there for Su. Locke moves out of range of the body kick from Su.
Locke tries to counter with a clinch but Su shakes him off and moves away. Locke has closed the distance and engaged Su in a clinch.
Locke breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Locke shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Su but Su pushes him off and we're back to square one. Su connects with an inside leg kick. Locke looking to score a takedown here. Su is defending well but Locke drives through and ends up in Su's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Su working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Locke. Locke passes into half guard. Still in half guard, Locke seems content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Locke looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Locke content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Locke thows a huge punch but Su dodges it nicely.
Locke works his way into full mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Locke working for a submission but Su is keeping him at bay.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Locke looking to control and managing it successfully. Locke lands a big shot there that rocks Su but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Locke postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Su looks a forlorn figure.
Locke tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Locke with shots to the head and body - Su looks very uncomfortable down there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Locke wants to finish this one by submission but Su is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Locke. Su is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes. Locke is in the full mount, landing strikes. Locke looking to finish Su with some ground and pound. This is bad for Su! Su really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Su is looking to get to half guard. Locke has control of Su's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Su regains control of the situation pretty easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Locke is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Su can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
John Locke dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Locke has taken the fight to the clinch.
Su jumps guard but Locke stands there with Su around his waist. Su gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Locke has been the more effective fighter overall so far. A right hook to the body lands for Locke.
Su stops a takedown attempt from Locke.
Locke's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Su misses with the body kick and Locke counters with a two punch combo. Su throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Locke throws a sloppy head kick and Su moves out of range easily. Locke shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Su as he jumps to the side. Su fails to land with a series of punches.
Nice takedown defense from Su. No joy for Locke on that attempt. Jin Su has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Locke.
That's one minute gone in the round. Su misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Locke dives in and grabs Su's left leg, looking for a takedown. Su pushes down on Locke's head and hops out. Locke sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Locke is breathing heavily. Su looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
A head kick misses from Su. Su slaps away a takedown attempt from Locke, before circling back to the center of the mat. Some wild striking there from Su.
Locke wants to counter the offense by Su and move into the clinch position. Locke avoids a kick to the body.
Su throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Locke takes one on the button. Su lands with a nice combination. Locke backs away looking to recover. Su lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nice takedown defense from Su. No joy for Locke on that attempt. Both fighters circling a little - Su finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. The fight stays on the outside here - Locke looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Su swinging wildly here.
Su sets himself, and Locke steps forward looking for the clinch! Su avoids it this time. Jin Su seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Su thuds his shin into the meat of Locke's side. Su lands a big head kick that sends Locke tumbling to the mat! Su takes a step backwards and waves Locke back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Locke is rocked! Locke shoots in for a takedown but Su shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. A chopping leg kick lands by Su. Su tries a head kick but it misses.
Su moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromLocke.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Locke walks forward, straight into a front kick from Su. Locke has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Su. An inside leg kick lands from Su. Locke closes the distance and pushes Su back into the cage. Locke prevents Su from breaking the clinch. Su is trying to force a seperation but Locke has the dominant position. Su gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Locke.
Locke drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Su gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Su is looking to break free of the clinch but Locke has double underhooks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Locke pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Locke takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Locke avoids the head kick by Su.
Su lets loose with a powerful body kick. Locke will feel that in the morning. Su will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jin Su is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Su tries to work over Locke's front leg with a kick but Locke checks it. A low kick lands for Locke.
Crunch! Su slams his shin into Locke's torso. Locke moves into the clinch successfully.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Locke keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Su's efforts to push away. Locke is stalling here.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jin Su dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

The fight moves into the clinch position. Locke decides to pull guard. Su being controlled here momentarily. Locke had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Su defends it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Locke seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Locke has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Su has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Locke wants to sweep here but Su controlling him for the moment. Locke has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Su can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Locke working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Su doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Su manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Su knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Locke on the ground. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Locke is on top in guard.
Locke gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Su throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
A head kick misses from Su. Su misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Locke moves into the clinch successfully.
Locke goes for a takedown attempt but Su pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Su throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Locke wants to counter with a clinch but Su pushes him away. Jin Su is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Su explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Locke rushes Su and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Su looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Su tries to circle away but Locke has him pinned against the cage. Locke is looking for a takedown. Jin Su has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Locke. Locke takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Su is looking to break free of the clinch but Locke has double underhooks. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Locke drops down looking for an ankle pick but Su pulls his leg out and moves away.
Locke shoots for a takedown but Su saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Locke drives through and clinches with Su against the cage.
Locke pulls guard successfully.
And that's the end of the fight! John Locke comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Locke has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
