Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wayne Goudey (ranked 4412 p4p, 5856 weight class) and Jimmy Shimmy (ranked 577 p4p, 660 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Wayne Goudey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Shimmy!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Ryoma Takatsuka and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goudey lands with a straight right. Shimmy didn't see that one coming.
Goudey stuffs the takedown attempt from Shimmy. Shimmy gets slowly back to his feet.
Oooooh!!! Goudey has knocked Shimmy down with a huge combo! Goudey steps away and waves a wobbly Shimmy back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Shimmy is rocked!
It looks like Jimmy Shimmy has been cut.
Goudey rushes Shimmy and presses him up against the cage.
Shimmy goes for a takedown attempt but Goudey pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Goudey fails to land the takedown.
Goudey definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Shimmy fails with a takedown attempt.
Goudey throws a big counter combination but Shimmy scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Wayne Goudey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Shimmy.
Shimmy doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Goudey counters with a crisp one two that drops Shimmy! Goudey thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Shimmy to his feet! Shimmy is in big trouble!
Shimmy is still on wobbly legs! Can Goudey finish him?

Shimmy seems to have recovered his senses.
Shimmy shoots in looking for a takedown. Goudey tries to sprawl out of it but Shimmy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Goudey manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Goudey has a takedown stuffed.
Goudey fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Shimmy looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Goudey drives through and clinches with Shimmy against the cage.
Goudey jumps into guard, dragging Shimmy to the mat.
Shimmy has gone for a leg lock! Goudey slips out almost immediately though and dives into Shimmy's guard.
Shimmy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Goudey doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Goudey manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Goudey seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Shimmy looking for a guillotine here but Goudey defends easily.

Shimmy striking off his back, scoring a few points.
Goudey might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Shimmy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Goudey gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Goudey wants to control from the top but Shimmy keeps moving.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Goudey avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Goudey tries to stand but Shimmy is controlling from the bottom.

Shimmy keeping moving, preventing Goudey from controlling successfully.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Shimmy is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Goudey stays in close to Shimmy's body and controls the position.
Shimmy is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Goudey is aware though and is defending well.
Shimmy wants to sweep here but Goudey controlling him for the moment.
Shimmy has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Goudey should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Shimmy has tightened it up now! Goudey should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
