Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mucak Shanikov (ranked 7139 p4p, 5202 weight class) and William S Burroughs (ranked 770 p4p, 650 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shanikov cracks a nice hook into Burroughs's ribs.

Burroughs gets the takedown into side control.
Shanikov tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Burroughs scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Shanikov to see if he's OK.
Burroughs creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Shanikov sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
