Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Xpto Xpto (ranked 3122 p4p, 6315 weight class) and Cennedy Brown (ranked 384 p4p, 605 weight class). Cennedy Brown will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown tries to close the distance and clinch up but Xpto swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Brown leaves Xpto with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Brown throws a looping overhand right but Xpto ducks down to avoid it.

Xpto scores with a takedown into Brown's guard.
Xpto slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Xpto working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Brown is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Xpto has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Xpto wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Brown, who protects the arm well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Xpto tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Xpto has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Brown is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Xpto is controlling him well.

Xpto is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Brown knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Xpto in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Brown is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
