Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sanderlei Wilva (ranked 1987 p4p, 1411 weight class) and Abdul Kaloev (ranked 276 p4p, 213 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kaloev wants the takedown. Wilva is fighting it off but Kaloev persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Wilva's guard against the cage.

Kaloev is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Kaloev extends the arm and Wilva is forced to tap!

After the fight, Abdul Kaloev was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
