Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Eddie Bravo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nikolai Tsavieva!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tsavieva swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bravo.
Tsavieva fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bravo, pushing him back against the cage.
Bravo blocks a body shot from Tsavieva.
Tsavieva escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bravo avoids the body shot from Tsavieva.
Bravo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tsavieva.
Bravo appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Tsavieva misses with a lunging right hand
and Bravo counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Tsavieva is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bravo is aware though and is defending well.
Bravo looking to pass the guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bravo controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Bravo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tsavieva swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tsavieva looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Bravo is working hard here to advance position.

Bravo trying to control but Tsavieva is working from the bottom.
Bravo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
We've been hearing good reports from Bravo's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Bravo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Tsavieva has his feet on Bravo's thighs here. He's pushed Bravo off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Bravo screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
