Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vasili Lobchov!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes throws a leg kick which misses Lobchov's front leg but catches the back leg as Lobchov tries to avoid it.
Lobchov looks to land a left hand but Barnes moved out of range nicely.

and Lobchov counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Lobchov ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Lobchov is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Barnes with a body shot.
Lobchov misses the jab.
Lobchov darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lobchov is looking for a kimura but Barnes is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lobchov to get the leverage.
Lobchov seems to be working for a kimura but Barnes defends the submission attempt.
Lobchov has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Barnes defend it? Lobchov steps over the head and cranks it - Barnes is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Lobchov!

Eric Barnes spoke after the fight, saying 'I appreciate the opportunity. Wasn't my day but I'll be back'.
