Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Marmalade (ranked 1877 p4p, 2228 weight class) and Roberto Vieira (ranked 79 p4p, 91 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Josh Marmalade!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roberto Vieira!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marmalade lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Vieira changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Marmalade tries to avoid it but Vieira manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Marmalade to the ground. Marmalade escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Vieira takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Vieira looks winded!
Marmalade clinches.
A short right from Marmalade.
Marmalade lands with a left to the head.
Marmalade gets through Vieira's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Marmalade lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Marmalade tightens his grip and picks Vieira up, before dumping him to the ground. Vieira manages to land in guard.
Marmalade trying to control but Vieira is working from the bottom.
Vieira preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Vieira can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Marmalade controls the pace.
Marmalade with a flurry of punches that miss.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Marmalade is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Vieira keeping moving, preventing Marmalade from controlling successfully.
Marmalade avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Vieira takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Vieira tries for a takedown but Marmalade circles away easily
and Marmalade counters with a straight right hand.
Vieira takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Vieira shoots and misses
and Marmalade counters with a left to the body.
Josh Marmalade has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roberto Vieira.
Marmalade throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Vieira stumbling backwards into the cage! Vieira bounces back off the cage towards Marmalade, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Marmalade lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Marmalade celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Josh Marmalade!
