Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Dinapoli (ranked 194 p4p, 224 weight class) and Tapu Koko (ranked 36 p4p, 40 weight class). Koko is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Aotearoa. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Dinapoli!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tapu Koko!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dinapoli throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dinapoli lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Dinapoli chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Dinapoli scores with a jab. Koko acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
It looks like Tapu Koko has been cut.
Nice jab there from Dinapoli.
Dinapoli connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Koko momentarily.
Dinapoli swats away the attempt to clinch by Koko.
A jab from Dinapoli finds it's way through Koko's defenses.
Dinapoli tried to score with a low kick but Koko checks it.
Koko is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Dinapoli throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Dinapoli ducks under a wild hook from Koko.
Dinapoli is looking to chop away at Koko's legs.
Koko throws a looping overhand right but Dinapoli ducks down to avoid it.
Koko moves in looking to clinch but Dinapoli pushes him off.
Koko has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Koko is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Dinapoli throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Nice straight punches there by Dinapoli. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Dinapoli.
A telegraphed right hand from Koko misses the target.
An inside leg kick lands from Dinapoli.
Dinapoli displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Koko throws out the jab.
Dinapoli is looking to counter punch.
Dinapoli circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Koko drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Dinapoli follows Koko to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
