Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sven Torvik (ranked 1995 p4p, 2694 weight class) and Alkyoneus Pallene (ranked 245 p4p, 323 weight class). Pallene comes into a darkened arena with his song building. All Star Chuck Taylors - Andre Nickatina kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alkyoneus Pallene!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pallene works the jab nicely.
It looks like Sven Torvik has been cut.
A jab from Torvik misses.
Pallene looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Torvik takes one to the chin there.
Torvik has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Torcida MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Torvik throws a lazy right hand but Pallene sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Pallene thows a left - swing and a miss!
Torvik scores with a jab to the jaw.
It looks like Alkyoneus Pallene has been cut.
Torvik avoids the body shot from Pallene.
Torvik fires out a quick counter leg kick but Pallene just manages to avoid it.
Pallene connects with the punch.
Pallene throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Torvik counters with a nice right hand that sends Pallene toppling to the canvas! Pallene scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Torvik finish him?!
Pallene is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pallene is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Torvik doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Pallene crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Pallene's bad books for that mishap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sven Torvik!
Sven Torvik decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
