Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paolinho Antonio Mateis Laeiro (ranked 2163 p4p, 1940 weight class) and Odd Hansen (ranked 299 p4p, 271 weight class). Hansen has chosen Post Malone-Rockstar as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Mateis Laeiro decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Mateis Laeiro looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Hansen is pressing down on Mateis Laeiro's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Hansen is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Mateis Laeiro has his hands clasped together but Hansen extends and breaks Mateis Laeiro's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Hansen.
