The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Song throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Andersson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Andersson unleashes a big counter combination but Song bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Song throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Andersson on the side of the head.

Song tries to bum rush Andersson with a series of wild strikes but Andersson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Andersson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Song but Song pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Song wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Song closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Andersson quickly recovers to half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Song lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Song wants to control but Andersson is keeping him busy.
Andersson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Song scores with a couple of nice shots.

Andersson is refusing to be controlled, as Song sits in half guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ndamukong Song dominated that round.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Oooooh!!! Song has knocked Andersson down with a huge combo! Song steps away and waves a wobbly Andersson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Song fakes the body blow, causing Andersson to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Andersson goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
