Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Abdullah Zaire (ranked 781 p4p, 805 weight class) and Furnum Pullum (ranked 115 p4p, 118 weight class). Abdullah Zaire had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Furnum Pullum!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaire lands a nice looking body shot.

Pullum shoots in looking for a takedown but Zaire manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pullum's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Pullum has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Pullum has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
