Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pacho Herrera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Buddy Good!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herrera drives through and clinches with Good against the cage.
Good looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Good is fighting off a takedown attempt but Herrera is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Good to the mat. Good regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Herrera seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Good for as long as he can get away with.

Herrera stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Good swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Good is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Herrera is aware though and is defending well.

Good looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Herrera creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Good sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Herrera connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Good some visible discomfort.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Good is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Herrera is looking to take a break and control but Good is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Good takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Good is breathing heavily.
Herrera has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Herrera scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Buddy Good has been cut.

Herrera forces Good back against the cage and clinches.
Herrera is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Good can't fight it off and eventually Herrera manages to take the fight to the floor. Good looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Herrera connects with a couple of short punches.
Herrera stands and steps away. Good gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

An uppercut to the body lands inside from Herrera.
Herrera breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Herrera fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Good, pushing him back against the cage.

Herrera is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Good is aware though and is defending well.
Pacho Herrera overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
