Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Kalishnikov (ranked 2498 p4p, 2172 weight class) and Takahiro Yoshida (ranked 308 p4p, 271 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, Vladimir Kalishnikov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takahiro Yoshida!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, John Kavanagh and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yoshida fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kalishnikov avoids it really well and circles away.

Kalishnikov ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kalishnikov no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Yoshida escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kalishnikov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
