Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rien Aerts (ranked 4864 p4p, 4741 weight class) and Macho Camacho (ranked 0 p4p, 589 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rien Aerts! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Macho Camacho! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Sandra Marshall and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aerts is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Camacho. Camacho throws a head kick that half lands.
Camacho lands with a kick to the temple. Aerts shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Camacho fails with the takedown. Camacho uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Aerts.
Aerts throws a jab when Camacho was well out of range. Aerts leaves Camacho with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Camacho fails with a takedown attempt. Rien Aerts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Macho Camacho. Aerts lands with an uppercut that bounces Camacho off the cage and back into range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Camacho jabbing away but nothing is landing. Camacho takes the fight into the clinch. Aerts tries to stall but Camacho uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Camacho has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Aerts had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Camacho defends it easily. Camacho is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Camacho throws a big elbow that misses. Camacho lands a couple of decent looking shots. Camacho working some strikes from top position. Camacho postures up in Aerts's guard and throws a big left but Aerts blocks it. Aerts working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Camacho. Aerts is trying to hold Camacho in close to prevent damage but Camacho has managed to pass into half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Camacho with the ground and pound but Aerts uses the opportunity to regain guard.

Rien Aerts is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Camacho goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Aerts waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Camacho. A big left from Aerts misses. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Camacho throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Camacho misses with a takedown attempt - Aerts sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Camacho has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Aerts paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Aerts throws a nice looking combination but Camacho bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A countering left hand to the body from Camacho misses. Camacho shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Aerts as he jumps to the side. A little feinted left hand from Aerts on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Rien Aerts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Macho Camacho.

Camacho lands an elbow that stopped Aerts in his tracks for a moment. Camacho is leaning against Aerts and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. A short body shot lands from Camacho as the two fighters clinch.

Camacho keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Aerts's efforts to push away. Aerts throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Aerts manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Camacho as Aerts tries to tie him up. Aerts throws a punch but it's blocked by Camacho. Camacho is trying to drag Aerts to the mat but Aerts just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Macho Camacho seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Aerts throws a punch but it's blocked by Camacho. Aerts tries to work over Camacho's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Aerts has a couple of punches blocked by Camacho.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Macho Camacho showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round! Camacho moves out of range as Aerts strikes. Aerts lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Aerts.

and Aerts counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Aerts takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Camacho feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Aerts wants to sweep but no luck. Camacho content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Aerts working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Camacho. Camacho sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Aerts's guard. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Aerts.

Camacho pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Camacho breaks from Aerts's wrist control and lands an elbow. Aerts can't escape the position.

Camacho is landing with some decent strikes but Aerts is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Camacho has hold of Aerts's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Aerts manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Aerts knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Camacho on the ground. Camacho looking to control and managing it successfully. Camacho working away from the top, dropping strikes. Camacho is in the full mount, landing strikes. Camacho pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Aerts is rocked! Camacho scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Oh Aerts is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Camacho lands a big shot there that rocks Aerts but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Camacho looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Oooooh, big shot lands for Camacho! Aerts is hurt baaadly! Camacho is firing away with more strikes - Aerts is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
