Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ben Reed (ranked 531 p4p, 751 weight class) and Kappa Knox (ranked 75 p4p, 116 weight class). Knox has chosen 'Til I Collapse | Eminem as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ben Reed! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kappa Knox! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knox throws a looping overhand right but Reed ducks down to avoid it. Reed throws a sloppy head kick and Knox moves out of range easily. Knox swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Knox steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Reed. Knox lands with a good body shot. Knox takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Reed throws a lazy head kick and Knox counters with a leg kick. Reed scores with a jab to the body. Knox tries a head kick but it misses.
Knox shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Reed tries a head kick but it misses.

Ben Reed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice uppercut there from Reed. Knox throws a leg kick which misses Reed's front leg but catches the back leg as Reed tries to avoid it.

Reed looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Reed is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Knox goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Reed tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Knox is able to avoid easily. Reed scores with a hook to the body. Knox takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. A swing and a miss from Reed. Knox shapes to counter with a head kick. A left lands for Reed. Reed swings for the body but Knox moves out of range.

Reed tries to score with a low kick but Knox moves his leg out of the way. Reed throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Knox.
Knox is rocked! Reed is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Knox on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Knox jabbing away but nothing is landing. Reed fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. A combination from Reed does no damage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Reed misses with a low kick. A solid body kick from Reed.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters circling - Reed throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Reed ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Knox moves away. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Reed, as that shot connected.
Knox uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Reed.

Knox throws a fast counter high kick but Reed manages to duck under it in time. Reed throws a looping overhand right but Knox ducks down to avoid it. Reed defending well as Knox loads up on a big left hand. Knox slips under a jab. Knox thuds a left hand into Reed's body. Knox throws a head kick that misses. It looked like Reed wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Knox tries a head kick but it misses.
Knox walks into a jab. Reed throws a jab but it's blocked by Knox. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ben Reed dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ben Reed's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Reed misses the jab. Reed is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Knox can do to turn this around? Knox throws a lazy head kick enabling Reed to counter with a crisp jab. Knox moves out of range of the body kick. Reed misses with a hook
and Knox counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Reed is lucky that one didn't land flush. Reed's jab looks to have found its range, popping Knox under the eye. Knox misses with a straight left. Knox pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Decent striking displayed by Reed there. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Knox fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Reed manages to avoid it. Reed cracks Knox with a good jab. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Knox might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Reed has got the better of the exchanges. Knox closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Reed throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Reed! Knox is out on his feet! Reed rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Knox is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Knox is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
