The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Snowdon gets the takedown into side control.

Snowdon is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Boxaaja knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Boxaaja is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Snowdon pulls his head out easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Boxaaja is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Snowdon's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Snowdon's back!

Boxaaja escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Snowdon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Snowdon is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Boxaaja defends it well.

Snowdon has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Boxaaja defend it? Snowdon steps over the head and cranks it - Boxaaja is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Snowdon!
