The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from De Moncey.

Tomahawk clinches up against the cage.
Tomahawk with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Tomahawk misses with an elbow strike.
Tomahawk digs a right hand underneath De Moncey's ribcage. De Moncey let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Tomahawk throws an elbow but it's blocked.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tomahawk keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of De Moncey's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tomahawk is looking to work some ground and pound but De Moncey has wrist control.
Tomahawk lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Tomahawk stands up over De Moncey, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Tomahawk distracts De Moncey with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

De Moncey had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Tomahawk defends it easily.

Tomahawk lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Tomahawk loads up on a big left hand. De Moncey felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Tomahawk looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! De Moncey can't hide his disappointment, as Tomahawk celebrates the victory.

A relieved looking Chief Tomahawk thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
