It looks like Liddell might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Chan tries to roll over but Liddell keeps him under control.

Liddell is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Chan sees it coming and defends easily. Liddell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's thirteen minutes gone in the round. Chan tries to control Liddell's body but Liddell pushes him off. Chan squirms to his side and now Liddell has his back! But no, Chan has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Chan defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Liddell's arms. Good control from Liddell.
That's fourteen minutes gone in the round. Chan trying to control but not successfully. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Chan just trying to survive but Liddell is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Chan is having to fend off submission attempts from Liddell, who is looking to sink in the choke. Liddell doesn't have the hooks in though and Chan manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.
