This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; Ricky Bobby Jr! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Bobby Jr moves into the clinch. Bobby Jr is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Jackson to keep the fight standing. Jackson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bobby Jr manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Jackson pushes down on Bobby Jr's leg and manages to get into half guard. Jackson is working for a kimura but Bobby Jr is defending it quite comfortably.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bobby Jr wants to improve his position but Jackson is controlling well.
Jackson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bobby Jr knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Bobby Jr makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bobby Jr.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson wants to pass the guard but Bobby Jr is keeping the position. Jackson is working hard here to advance position. Jackson pushes down on Bobby Jr's leg and manages to get into half guard. Bobby Jr looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Jackson passes to side control. Score +3 for passing guard: Jackson (3) vs (0) Bobby Jr Jackson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jackson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Jackson tries to move into full mount but can't pass Bobby Jr's legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson has hold of Bobby Jr's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Bobby Jr tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Jackson cranks the arm and Bobby Jr screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Bobby Jr, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
