Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between King Slender (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Savage has chosen Vote With a Bullet by Corrosion of Conformity as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slender lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Jackson Savage has been cut.
Slender misses with the combination.
Savage wants to clinch up but Slender keeps it at a distance.
Slender goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Savage ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Slender moves away.
Savage shoots in looking for a takedown. Slender tries to sprawl out of it but Savage keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Slender manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Savage has hold of Slender's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Slender manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Savage connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Slender wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Savage.

That was a close round but I would say that King Slender will probably get the nod.

Savage had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Slender is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Savage Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Slender's back instead.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Slender's corner calls for a 1-2. Slender obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Savage closes the distance and clinches up with Slender, looking for a takedown. Savage pushes Slender against the cage but Slender circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Slender lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Savage circles away quickly and effectively.

and Savage counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Slender is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Slender lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Horrible takedown by Savage or perhaps it was just good defense by Slender which made him look bad.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Slender crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Savage - the referee stops the clock and Slender gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Savage. Slender manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Savage looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Slender makes his way to full guard, as Savage worked for a kimura.

King Slender showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Slender, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
