The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Hirohito Nitta.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Gracie tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bryant feinted with a counter takedown.
Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bryant tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bryant to the ground. Bryant escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gracie forces Bryant back against the cage and clinches.
Bryant stops a takedown attempt from Gracie.
Gracie tries to pull guard but Bryant forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Bean Bryant has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Heston Gracie.
Gracie tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Gracie has Bryant pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bryant manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Bryant is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Bryant extends the arm and Gracie is forced to tap!
