The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connolly throws a body shot but no joy.
Nice shot lands for Barnes.
Connolly shoots for a takedown but Barnes saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Barnes lands with a slapping head kick.

It looks like North Connolly has been cut.
Connolly swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Barnes to counter with a crisp jab.
Connolly swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Barnes throws a nice inside leg kick.
Barnes connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Connolly takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Barnes moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Connolly falls off balance throwing a combination
and Barnes counters with a left and a right that stings Connolly.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Barnes throws a one two combo.
Barnes lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Barnes is looking to slow Connolly down with leg kicks.

Connolly throws a right hand that Barnes ducks under and follows up with a left that Barnes also avoids with ease.
Barnes jabs Connolly to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Barnes moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Barnes lands a glancing blow to the side of Connolly's head.
Barnes moves out of range of the body kick.
Nice body punch from Barnes.
Barnes is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Connolly misses with a shot to the body
and Barnes connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Connolly moves in looking to clinch but Barnes pushes him off.
Connolly shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Barnes counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Barnes counters with a left and a right that stings Connolly.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Barnes counters with a nice uppercut.
Barnes has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Barnes scores with a shot to the body.

Barnes lands a big head kick that sends Connolly tumbling to the mat! Barnes takes a step backwards and waves Connolly back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Connolly is rocked!
Barnes cracks Connolly with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
