Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tubby Steed (ranked 4983 p4p, 3406 weight class) and Islandiano Islandish (ranked 537 p4p, 405 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tubby Steed! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Islandiano Islandish! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steed throws a series of punches but Islandish moves out of range. Steed looks to throw a body kick and Islandish counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Steed working hard to break the clinch. Islandish fails to pull guard.
Islandish tries to pull guard but Steed holds him up against the cage and eventually Islandish drops back down to his feet.
Steed wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Islandish keeps control of Steed as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Steed creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Islandish managing to block the knees to the body from Steed.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Islandish drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Steed gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Tubby Steed has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Islandiano Islandish. Come on Islandish - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Islandish is looking for a takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steed is trying to break free. Steed breaks from the clinch.
Islandish tries a head kick but it misses.
Steed fails to land with a series of punches.
Islandish closes the distance and pushes Steed back into the cage. Steed is trying to break free. Steed is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Islandish tries for a takedown. No joy.
Steed wants to get back to striking at distance but Islandish won't allow it.
Steed is trying to force a seperation but Islandish has the dominant position. Steed is trying to break the clinch but Islandish is controlling him. The referee is keeping an eye on Steed - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Islandish misses with a body punch.
Islandish prevents Steed from breaking the clinch. I was talking to Steed's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Steed tries to break the clinch but Islandish is controlling the position. Islandish drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Steed gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Islandish can't get the takedown.
Islandish has hold of one of Steed's legs. Steed is fighting the takedown attempt but Islandish gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Steed has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Islandish is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Islandish jumps guard but Steed turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Islandish is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Steed is defending well against a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steed manages to break the clinch.
Steed throws a head kick but Islandish moves out of range.
Islandish is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Islandish tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Steed paws at him with a jab and circles away. Islandish doesn't manage to clinch there - Steed circles away.
Steed throws a good cross that connects.
Steed clobbers Islandish with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Steed throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Steed misses with a double jab.
Islandish feints the counter takedown. Islandish throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Steed misses with a jab, cross combination.
Islandish dodges the punch combination from Steed.
Islandish steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Steed. Tubby Steed is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Islandish throws a series of punches but Steed avoids them all with ease. Steed swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Steed tries to bum rush Islandish with a series of wild strikes but Islandish uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Islandish rushes Steed and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Steed is trying to break free.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Islandish using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Steed has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Islandish goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Islandish has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Steed avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Steed breaks from the clinch.
Steed cracks Islandish with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Islandish has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Steed swinging wildly here.
Steed throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Islandish. Jab from Steed. Steed lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Steed lands a jab to Islandish's midsection. Danga de danga de dang - Steed scores with a four punch combination! Islandish doesn't manage to clinch there - Steed circles away.
Steed swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Tubby Steed dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Steed works over Islandish's head and body with a nice combination. Steed swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tubby Steed is winning the standup battle so far. Steed lands with a cross. Islandish gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Islandish tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Steed is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Islandish buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Islandish!! Islandish is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Steed throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tubby Steed! Jumping up and down and very excited, Tubby Steed waved his t-shirt featuring ALPHAwear's logo in front of the cameras.
